GDPR Information for INYS volunteers

We recently updated our Privacy Policy to clarify how we protect your personal information in keeping with the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Therefore we would like to update you on what this implicates for you as INYS volunteer.

We make an effort to protect your data against third parties according to the new European law as enforced in the Netherlands on May 25 2018 titled ‘Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming’. This means that herewith we formally ask you whether we may keep your data (your name, e-mail address and phone number) within our system for a maximum of two years. If you do not want to give your permission, please inform our secretary by e-mail.

We keep your data with the purpose of contacting you for committee work. This data is secured by updating our contact list with your approval for us to keep record for a maximum of two years. After these two years we will ask you whether you want to extend this or not. You may always choose to have your data deleted by us. The person who is responsible for your data is our secretary.

We have a strict data protection policy, which is available in our Huishoudelijk Reglement article number 11. The board is obliged to keep our data protected within the INYS organisation. Within our organisation we do not share any information with third parties without your formal permission.
