Dance Nandak for Independence Day

In commemoration of Indonesia’s Independence Day, we have explored one of Indonesia’s cultural art forms 💃 Nandak comes from the Betawi word for “dance”. We learned BEGINNER-FRIENDLY traditional dances that are originally from Indonesia and celebrated together! On 26th of June 2021, the Dutch board organized a Pencak Silat workshop at The Hague beach. We had the opportunity to learn some of the Jurus Tunggal techniques from five experienced Pencak Silat professionals.
